Advice
I don’t believe in giving or taking advice.
the reason I don’t believe in giving advice is because there are no ‘shoulds’ in the video game of life and advice is often full of shoulds.
"You should do this."
"You shouldn’t do that."
In truth, who knows WTF you should or shouldn’t do?
also, giving advice implies that you know the person who you are giving advice to better than you know yourself.
which usually isn’t true.
So it’s kind of pointless
The reason I don’t take advice is because the person giving you advice isn’t really giving you advice, but just validating their own decisions.
If I spent my life learning engineering and electronics, and I tell you to do the same, what am I really doing?
Am I giving you the best course of action for you (based on your unique skill sets and motivations) or am I just giving you empty words that reinforce how I spent my life?
It's tricky
The meaningful advice most probably you should take is, that coming from somebody who has done x, but advises you to do y instead.
But most advices looks like this instead,
a lawyer will advise you to become a lawyer
a coder will advise you to become a coder
so it's all bullshit (Unless you actually want to become a lawyer or coder, then it pays to talk to somebody who has done it).
So, let's come to the main part
let me give you an advice --- :) ---
"You’re thinking too many thoughts. You’re taking too many actions. You’re moving in too many directions"
all thoughts and actions aren't even decided by you, but in accordance with people around you.
So, slow down, relax and figure it out!
visualize your end goal(north star), do the tasks in alignment with it, consistently.
Also, live the dream today!
stop waiting for the world to give you what you want.
give it to yourself.
P.S
- That's enough advice and internet for today! psttt
